Hemorrhage (2024) directed by Esteban Powell Suarez, is a short Gothic Romance on the limits of codependency, even if in thename of love. Of the burden of responsibility when caretaking for a loved one with anillness, and how far we are willing to go to keep each other safe, whilst hiding deeper inhibitions.
As the art director, I led the art department to create a dynamic and visually cohesive film aesthetic, collaborating closely with the director and cinematographer to develop a unique visual style that resonated with the film's Gothic Romance themes. Responsibilities included designing sets and environments to enhance visual storytelling, significantly elevating audience engagement, and managing the art team to bring the film’s intricate world to life.

ABOUT ME
An Indian filmmaker based in Toronto, deeply inspired by mythology, history, and the complex fabric of human emotions. My work aims to capture the essence of people and their stories, weaving narratives that resonate with authenticity and depth. With two years of study in the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Studies program at Toronto Metropolitan University, I have honed my craft through various creative avenues. With experience working on over 10 short films, I have taken on various roles spanning pre-production to post-production, including writing, directing, editing, and art production—often singlehandedly producing some projects. Beyond short films, I have worked extensively on product photography, graphic design, animation, and logo design projects, bringing a multifaceted perspective to my artistic practice. My journey as a filmmaker continues to be one of discovery, driven by a desire to connect with audiences and illuminate the stories that define and unite us.
